Mileaters - Off the beaten track
On Tuesday 26th July 20 walkers (and 4 dogs) drove to the Crown Inn at Puncknowle to start a water themed walk which was a nice contrast to all the dryness around. We had a look at a fish farm, enjoyed a drink by a rarely visited lake, and crossed an ancient stone bridge all off the beaten track. We even managed to find some mud because you can't have a mileaters walk without it! A big thank you to the Crown Inn for providing us with a lovely and efficiently served lunch.
