An explanation but no apology
On Saturday 12 January the 09.05 X51 bus from Bridport failed to travel through the valley so I had to get off at Poundbury. I understand from another regular user of this scheduled Saturday service that this was not the first occasion the bus has not taken the correct route, and she has been forced to walk to Martinstown following her night shift at a nursing home.
Following a complaint I made to First Bus (that I had to chase up on three occasions), I was finally given a response on 11 March which was their acknowledgement that the driver had not taken the scheduled route, he has been spoken to and will be given further training. I hope so!
