Many thanks to the generous congregations at both Martinstown and Winterbourne Steepleton harvest services who donated food. I have now tested the capacity of my car boot to the full twice this month!
The Food Bank was very pleased to receive the many bags and boxes of packet and tinned foods. The need for the Food bank continues and usage increases in the winter months.
Please leave tinned foods, especially tinned fish and tinned vegetables in the usual collection points of Martinstown church and the village shop (thanks to Karen). It is also useful to have packet foods, such as, biscuits, rice and pasta. Please also consider donating bathroom necessities, such as, toothpaste, soap, shampoo and toilet rolls.
Many thanks on behalf of the Food Bank volunteers and clients.
