Winterborne St Martin Parish Council
Elections 2nd May 2019
YOUR PARISH COUNCIL
Elections for the New Dorset Unitary Authority and all the Town and Parish Councils in Dorset will be held on Thursday 2nd May 2019.
Your Parish Council will be part of this election process.
The Parish Council has nine members. In order for an election to be held, and for you – the residents and Council Tax payers - to have a choice, there must be more than nine candidates. If nine people or less are nominated, you – the residents and Council Tax payers – get no choice about your representatives on the Parish Council. We feel sure you would prefer some choice in this – therefore we would encourage people to consider standing for election to the Winterborne St Martin Parish Council.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact your current Parish Councillors, Debbie Wiltshire, Patrick Jeffrey, Martin Usherwood, Anne Bennett, Dave Read, Neale Hallett, Karen Delafield, Richard Eversden or the Clerk to the Council Stephen Slade. Contact details can be found on the Parish Council page on the village website.
