Fooled by the April weather...

Having encountered many wet and muddy walks of late, the walk chosen was in Melbury Park just north of Evershot where the majority of the walk was on roads that served the park.

Blue skies and bright sunshine, but with a nip in the air, told us that Spring had finally sprung. There were masses of primroses nestling in the hedgerows and a few bluebells had started to appear in addition to the swathes of daffodils. Sheer delight.

There were 15 walkers and 3 dogs and we set off from the newly reopened Sheaf of Arrows on the A37.

Despite the walk being around 6.5 miles everyone survived!
