Martinstown WI Garden Party 2025
After such hot sticky weather it was a pleasant cool afternoon for Wi garden party. We played Beetle drive (with a twist naturally). Had a lovely cream tea and tasting of several Dorset Apple cakes all made by members.
Jill won the beetle drive after a beetle tie break. Jennie won the Dorset Apple cake voted for by members.

WI Craft Day
Our ladies enjoyed an evening of drawing thanks to Katie, who with great patience, got us having a go.
Village Trip Tiverton Canal Barge Ride.
The horse was called George and he did a mighty fine job of pulling us along a tranquil and pretty canal. It was useful having a bar on board. Many decided on the ice cream option back on dry land. We then stopped at a farm shop with a chance to shop and more refreshments . All in all a grand day out.
